Founded as the NACCA Bar Association (National Association of Claimant's Compensation Attorneys); became the American Trial Lawyers Association in 1964 and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America in 1972; assumed its current name in 2007. It’s mission is to advocate a fair and effective justice system and to support the work of attorneys in their efforts to ensure that their clinets recieve a fair trial. Membership: $50-525 (Regular Members depending on the number of years of practice); $125 (International); $75 (Government/Paralegal Affiliate); $35 (Military/Law Professor); $15 (Student).
